Worldly known for creating surreal collages in Photoshop, Shaylin Wallace "Shay The Surrealist" (b.1999) is a Jamaican-American digital artist from Wilmington, Delaware. She is currently based in Washington, DC.
She turns ordinary images into extraordinary surreal masterpieces, collaging together her innermost thoughts, feelings and imaginative ideas. Her works of art capture the divine connection between humans, nature, and the universe. In many of her works, Shaylin blends flowers, portraits and elements of the natural world together, creating a new, fresh perspective on everyday life. An artist who pushes her own limitations creatively, Shaylin excels in multiple mediums including photography, graphic design, and digital illustration. She uses art as a way to connect and communicate her deepest thoughts and emotions.
As a 21st Century renaissance woman, Shaylin' s legacy is to create the unimaginable and to inspire others to pursue their passions and to follow their dreams.
