Synergy is a 3-part floral collage series that expresses the transformational journey one encompasses during their lifetime. Synergy reflects the journey of growing and finding one's light within the darkness and alchemising one's pain into power.

Some of our darkest moments alchemies into our brightest days.

Within our shadows, we discover and uncover all of the things that were hidden in the dark. Our shadows are a part of who we are. Our shadows are something we should embrace, not run from.

We are the shadows. We are the light. We are everything. We are one.

These last few years, I have experienced some of the most heartbreaking, stressful, yet transformational moments of my life. I tend to go through these moments alone, in solitude. I now know that what occurred was a part of my own journey, to discover more about who I am at the core. I used to think "how am I going to get through these dark times?"

Somehow, I always come out standing taller, stronger and wiser than ever.

During my own Spiritual Journey, I've learned that we really do bloom and grow during some of our darkest moments. Eventually, the light shines through the shadows. We will then see and understand that what has happened has occurred for a reason. It's as if a specific set of events are divinely set up to guide us to blossom into the greatest version of ourselves. This is a journey after all. Some knowledge gets passed down or comes naturally. Other times, we must go through trials and tribulations to build strength, find wisdom, and most of all, courage to overcome anything and everything.

Synergy poetically portrays how dark days don't last forever and that flowers can still grow in the shade.

Backbone (2025) is influenced by the concept of having one's own back. Instead of waiting for someone to come save you, you decide to take things into your own hands and save yourself.

The flowers scattered on the back symbolize the pain that turned into power, the suffering that turned into being one's own savior, the wounds that turned into wins. It takes a lot of courage to show up for oneself, especially for those who show up for everyone.

Lavish (2025) expresses the transformative moment of going from being alive to living life. We spend so much time on this planet on auto-pilot, simply existing, not seeing the beauty of the world or the beauty within ourselves.

We all deserve good things. We all deserve to experience life and the world around us. In order to experience the life of our dreams, we must create it. Create the life you wish to live. Define what a luxurious, lavish lifestyle is to you.

Rebel (2025) embraces the power, the boldness we all carry within ourselves. What makes our shadows so powerful is how they help protect and bring us a sense of security.

Our shadows help push us to our most expansive potential. Some may call it being rebellious, but being a rebel is a great thing. It means that you think for yourself. It means you're showing up authentically which makes you one of the most powerful beings on Earth.

I hope my series Synergy nudges you to feel powerful during your darkest moments. It's only human to feel things deeply. Just remember when you feel like you're floating into the abyss of darkness, there will always be a light. You can create that light for yourself or turn to someone you trust to lend you a helping hand. Turn your gloom into bloom. Embrace the darkness. Become the alchemist of your own power, of your own true potential.
